Help from Caritas for residents of 3 regions: who can receive it

The Caritas Ukraine Charity Foundation provides financial assistance to various segments of the population. In particular, residents of certain regions can receive material support within the framework of the HEAVEN project.

The HEAVEN project stands for "Providing shelter and housing needs for vulnerable segments of the population in Ukraine".

Who can receive assistance

Residents of Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions can apply for assistance. Their income should not exceed 6318 hryvnias.

In addition, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• a single father or guardian of minors;

• a family with a pregnant woman or a mother breastfeeding a child under 3 years old;

• the family has a person with a disability of group I or II, a disability since childhood, with serious or chronic diseases;

• single people over 60 years old who do not have support from relatives;

• large families with 3 or more minor children.

Assistance can be used

• for home repairs or insulation;

• for the purchase of solid fuel;

• to pay rent for housing.

How to apply for assistance

Applications are accepted by the hotline of the charitable foundation "Caritas" at 0800 336 734. Calls are accepted from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 16:00. Calls to the hotline are free of charge.
