Benefits for students have been preserved
In 2024, at least 550 Ukrainian students entered Irish universities. The state decided to compensate the cost of education for Ukrainian youth.
This was reported by the Department of Additional and Higher Education. In the past two years since the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, Ukrainian youth also had free access to the third level of education.

Certificate. In total, more than 18,000 children and teenagers who left Ukraine as a result of the war are registered in Irish schools. Currently, Ireland is reducing aid to Ukrainian refugees and closing refugee accommodation centers.
