«Ridna shkola» - a school located in the Liege region that teaches Ukrainian culture, history, traditions and language to children on two Saturdays a month, now offers refugees of all ages the opportunity to learn French for free.

Before the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, children were taught the Ukrainian language at school and the magical world of Ukrainian traditions was opened to them.

Today, the school offers free French lessons for people who have been forced to leave their homes in Ukraine due to the war.

Recently, thanks to the initiative of the Belgian artist Christian Bessemans, art therapy classes for Ukrainian refugee children appeared at the "Ridna shkola" on Saturdays.

The school has already met many people who want to integrate into French-speaking Belgium as soon as possible, and language is the most necessary tool for this.
