What are they offering
The International Labor Organization (ILO) informs about the start of the project "Expansion of child care services and preschool education through the piloting of mini-kindergartens".
Women are offered to create small kindergartens with an affordable price for children aged 0 to 3 years.
First, the women will be asked to complete a comprehensive training program to acquire the knowledge and skills required for such work. Participants will be told about early development, childcare, preschool education, etc.

Who will be chosen?
Women from Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions can apply for the competition. 30 women will be selected to participate in the program.
The participants will be chosen regardless of whether they have experience in entrepreneurial activity. Consideration will be given to whether the participant is interested in starting her own childcare business, as well as whether she is interested in making a positive impact in early childhood education.
Why will they teach?
The program includes a 5-day training course for 30 selected participants. It includes:
the main aspects of entrepreneurial activity in child care;
basics of business management;
licensing, economic planning, operational management skills.
After graduation, the 4 best business plans will have a chance to receive grants of up to $25,000 to start their own mini-kindergartens. Applications can be submitted until December 25, 2023 using the link.
