Supporting entrepreneurs in 3 regions: pay special attention if you are an IDP

Support for private entrepreneurs in the 3 regions of Ukraine that have suffered the most from the war is provided by the public organization "Person in Need".

Residents of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions can receive assistance.

Who is the competition for


Residents of the following communities can apply for a grant:

  • Dnipropetrovsk region: Pavlohrad, Zelenodolsk, Pokrovsk (Nikopol district), Pyatikhatsk (Kamyansk district), Tsarychansk, Magdaliniv communities, as well as the cities of Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro;

  • Kharkiv region: Kharkiv, Chuhuyiv, Rohansk, Zlatopilsk (Pervomaysk), Berestynsk (Krasnogradsk district);

  • Mykolaiv region: Bashtansk, Shevchenkivsk, Snigurivsk, Bereznehuvatsk, Pervomaysk.


This competition is intended for Ukrainians who are already registered, who are private entrepreneurs, or just dream of opening their own business.


Categories of contestants


The following persons may apply for the competition:

  1. Residents of the specified communities, or IDPs who have moved to these communities.

  2. Individuals who have lost their business due to the war.

  3. People who seek to change their profession (retrain).

Please note! Persons who have reached the age of 18 can apply for the competition. Preference will be given to people with disabilities, IDPs, single parents, mothers or guardians, people of pre-retirement or retirement age, representatives of ethnic minorities and veterans.

The program offers 3 types of grant support: up to $2,000, $4,000 and $5,000. The first two categories are available to individuals, and the third to businesses.
