Peace must be achieved by preventing the recurrence of tragedies of this magnitude. This is achieved only by establishing understanding between people representing countries directly or indirectly involved in the conflict. Another important component of peace in Europe is the promotion of demilitarization and anti-war sentiments, especially among countries that have become direct participants in hostilities.
 
The following are communities, projects and other activities that promote peace and friendship among young people from different European countries. Particular attention is paid to the "Peace Dialogue" between representatives of countries traumatized by the Soviet experience and post-Soviet revanchism in the CIS. 
 
YouthFutureUA both implements author's programs and informs about existing thematic initiatives, the target audience of which is young people.
