How Ukrainians can get free housing on Airbnb: the service is available again

Ukrainian refugees can again apply for free accommodation on the Airbnb service. The platform United for Ukraine announced the restoration of the free housing search program.

Conditions for housing

  1. Only families with children can get the free accommodation service. It is important that only persons who have not yet used the services of the United for Ukraine platform are entitled to the service.

  2. In the application, you must provide complete information about where and who needs accommodation.

  3. Free accommodation can be provided for a period of 7 to 30 days.

  4. You need to confirm that your family left Ukraine after February 24. This can be done, for example, with the help of a stamp in the passport.

  5. The free accommodation search is available until December 31, 2022.

How to apply

You need to go to the United for Ukraine website and choose "Find temporary housing" among the free services.

Next, the following confirmations must be provided:

  • Basic information about who needs housing, where and for what period.

  • Confirmation that you are looking for housing because you left Ukraine due to the war.

  • Identity verification using a Ukrainian passport, work permit or residence permit.

  • A stamp stating that you left Ukraine on or after February 24, 2022.

  • Agents may ask for additional documents depending on where you are traveling.
