Lviv will receive almost 20 million euros for housing for IDPs with disabilities

The European Union will allocate a fairly large sum for the construction of housing for internally displaced persons. These will be apartments for people from all over Ukraine who suffered from the war and need long-term rehabilitation.


For this purpose, the EU will allocate 19.5 million euros. This was reported by the EU Neighbors East resource. Funds will be allocated within the framework of the UNBROKEN program.

They will build 2 eight-story buildings


They plan to build 2 eight-story buildings in Lviv. They will be located next to the rehabilitation center.


The construction of housing is planned to be completed by the beginning of winter 2023. The city will allocate a plot of land for houses, as well as conduct communications, equip a bomb shelter and improve the territory.

"Architects are expected to propose a high-quality project that will be implemented in the shortest possible time, since this is an emergency program that must be implemented as quickly as possible", – noted the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi.
